Police Investigate Suspicious Death In Brockton

By Katie Brace, WBZ-TV

BROCKTON (CBS) – Detectives are investigating what the Plymouth District Attorney’s Office calls a suspicious death at a home in the 100 block of Forest Avenue in Brockton.

Neighbors said a teenaged girl came home and found her mom dead in the back hallway. She ran from the house screaming, “I love you mommy. I love you mommy. Why? Why?” according to neighbor Julio Rodriquez. The girl ran outside to another sister.

According to several people the woman was a single mom with four children ranging in age from toddler to mid-teens. The family moved into the first floor of the home in January, and neighbors said they only knew them in passing.

The D.A.’s office has not yet released the woman’s name or other details surrounding the case.
