Canadian Store Defaces Sam Adams 6-Packs Ahead Of Bruins-Habs Series

BOSTON (CBS) - With the Bruins and Canadiens set to face off in the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs on Thursday, a beer store in Quebec is having some fun at the expense of Sam Adams beer.

The Boston-based brewer has taken its unfair share of harassment in recent years thanks to misguided fans of opposing teams. And on Tuesday, Fine & Fûtés posted a photo on its Facebook page featuring the Montreal Canadiens logo covering the "Boston" on bottles and six-packs of Sam Adams Boston Lager.

Fine & Fûtés is actually located much closer to Ottawa than to Montreal, so it's unclear why they aren't Senators fans. Perhaps that could explain why they aren't outright banning the brew from their store.

In 2012, a New York bar outright banned Sam Adams during the Bruins-Rangers series, and a Pittsburgh bar did the same during the 2013 Bruins-Penguins series.
