Bus Driver Killed In North Brookfield Accident
NORTH BROOKFIELD (CBS) – A WRTA bus driver was killed in an accident in North Brookfield Wednesday afternoon.
The woman, identified as a 46-year-old Rutland woman, was helping her lone passenger out of the back of the bus when it started to roll.
A witness says the driver ran to stop the bus but she was hit.
The bus continued to roll down the street and hit a house.
The passenger suffered minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
