New Boston Marathon Wreaths Unveiled

BOSTON (CBS) – WBZ-TV got an exclusive first look at the new olive wreaths which will be presented to the winners of the Boston Marathon.

They are made from actual olive leaves in Greece, the birthplace of the marathon.

For the first time, the wreaths are dipped in gold.

The Greek Consul will officially present them to the BAA next week. WBZ-TV’s Lisa Hughes will emcee the event.
