BOSTON (CBS) – Felger and Massarotti were joined by Jermaine Wiggins and the guys discussed the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. The Red Sox defeated the Texas Rangers 5-1 last night. Should Bradley Jr. be the starting center fielder? How much of an influence has Red Sox manager John Farrell been on John Lackey’s turnaround? Mike, Tony, and Jermaine got into the Patriots and the this year’s NFL Draft. Should the Pats look to draft a quarterback this year? Finally, the guys get into why the state of Connecticut rubs Mazz the wrong way.

In Hour 2 of Felger and Mazz, the guys and Jermaine continue to talk about the Patriots future in the quarterback position. When should the Pats start planning for life after Tom Brady? The guys went on to play this week’s edition of 10 Questions with Wiggy. Before letting the listeners ask Wiggy some questions, the group got back into the plan at quarterback when Brady calls it a career.

During Hour 3 of Felger and Massarotti, the Red Sox and Jackie Bradley Jr.’s playing time was discussed. The guys also talked about the contract of John Lackey. Lackey is scheduled to make only $500,000 next season. Should the Sox ride out Lackey’s contract or offer him an extension? What has happened to Texas Rangers first baseman Prince Fielder? Finally, the guys went on to discuss UConn’s 60-54 win over Kentucky in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship.

In the fourth and final Hour, Felger and Mazz get back into John Lackey. How impressive has Lackey’s work ethic been? When should the Patriots start planning for life after Tom Brady? To wrap up the day, we hear the Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
