The Celtics did the unthinkable on Friday night when they suffered a 111-102 loss to the lowly Sixers, a team that had dropped 28 of 29 entering the contest. With that, Boston fell for the 12th game in 13 tries. “Celtics @ 7″ host Adam Kaufman opened Saturday’s show by talking about the defeat and how the road won’t get much better over the final six games. He also offered some big picture thoughts on the team’s season, the C’s effort under first-year coach Brad Stevens, and the futures of Rajon Rondo and Avery Bradley.

Kaufman welcomed Detroit Free Press Michigan State basketball beat writer Joe Rexrode to the show for the second segment to break down future NBA talents Gary Harris and Adreian Payne. Both the sophomore guard and senior forward are candidates to be drafted by the Celtics, depending on their first round position.

The show wrapped with more draft talk and the expectation that Duke Jabari Parker and Kansas star Joel Embiid will indeed enter the NBA Draft, though they’ve yet to declare.
