BOSTON (CBS) -- After a five-goal outburst last week, Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron has been named the NHL's Second Star of the Week.

Bergeron scored five goals, had an assist and was a plus-five in four games last week. The B's forward scored two goals last Thursday against the Chicago Blackhawks, including the game-winner against the defending Stanley Cup champions.

Dating back to March 18, Bergeron now has a goal in a career-high seven straight games. He currently ranks second on the Bruins in goals (27), third in points (56) and tied for fifth in assists with linemate Reilly Smith (29). Bergeron's plus-36 rating ranks second in the NHL.

Bergeron is the second Bruin to take home Star Of The Week honors this season, with Jarome Iginla bringing home Third Star honors twice (weekend ending February 9 and March 23).

Ottawa's Kyle Turris and St. Louis's T.J. Oshie were named first and third stars of the week, respectively.
