Funeral Arrangements Announced For Fallen Boston Firefighters

BOSTON (CBS) --- The funeral arrangements have been announced for the two Boston firefighters killed while battling a Beacon Street blaze, last week.

According to Stanton Funeral Home, visiting hours for Lt. Walsh will be Tuesday, April 1 from 3-8 p.m. in St. Patrick's Church at 212 Main St. Watertown. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church.

The wake for Firefighter Kennedy is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, April 2, from 2:30-8 p.m. at the P.E. Murray Funeral Home at 2000 Centre Street, in West Roxbury. Kennedy's funeral will be held on Thursday, April 3, at 11 a.m. at Church of the Holy Name at 1689 Centre Street in West Roxbury. Boston Fire tweeted on Sunday, that the general public's viewing hours are from 4-8 p.m.

There's no official word yet on a cause of the fire.

A fund has been set up to help the firefighters' families.

Donations may be made at the Boston Firefighter's Credit Union website, www.bosfirecu.com, or by mailing checks to the fund care of the Boston Firefighter's Credit Union, 60 Hallet St., Boston MA 02124.
