BOSTON (CBS) – Dozens of firefighters gathered inside a terminal at Logan Airport Thursday night to wait for family members of a fallen Boston firefighter to arrive.

A photo of the group of Massport firefighters emerged Friday morning.

According to Boston Fire Department Spokesperson Steve MacDonald, they were lined up in Terminal C to meet Lt. Edward Walsh’s mother-in-law and other family members, who arrived in Boston around 6:30 p.m.

Funerals for Walsh and and firefighter Michael Kennedy are being planned for next week.

The two were killed in the fire at a Beacon Street brownstone Wednesday.

A fund has been set up to help the firefighters’ families.

Donations may be made at the Boston Firefighter’s Credit Union website, www.bosfirecu.com, or by mailing checks to the fund care of the Boston Firefighter’s Credit Union, 60 Hallet St., Boston MA 02124.
