REVERE (CBS) — A two-alarm fire tore through the IHOP Restaurant in Revere early Monday.
Authorities say the fire started in the kitchen and spread to the rest of the restaurant. IHOP was open at the time. No one was injured.
Fire crews were on the scene throughout the night.
Revere Fire estimates the damage at a quarter-million-dollars. Exterior renovations were recently completed on the restaurant.
Route 60 was reopened shortly before 8 a.m. Monday.
