Felger & Mazz: March 10, 2014

Felger and Massarotti kicked off the week discussing the New England Patriots and the start of NFL free agency. NFL free agency begins tomorrow at 4pm. What can the Patriots do to turn their competitive team into a championship team? Mike and Tony went on to talk some Boston Celtics. Does Rajon Rondo have the personality to be a team leader? Hour 1

Before getting into the Boston Red Sox during Hour 2, Felger and Mazz talked about the potential of the Patriots bringing in Tennessee Titans cornerback Alterraun Verner. Could Devin McCourty have some influence on the Pats signing Verner? Mike and Tony got into the Boston Red Sox. Who will be the Sox starting center fielder on Opening Day? Grady Sizemore or Jackie Bradley Jr.? Why does Jonny Gomes think that he is as good as he thinks he is?

Hour 2

During Hour 3 of Felger and Massarotti, the guys got back into the Patriots and the start of free agency. Do the Pats need to adjust their philosophies when it comes to free agent signings? The Patriots have resigned tight end Michael Hoomanawanui to a two-year extension. If the Pats are left to choose between Julien Edelman and Danny Amendola, who should they keep? Felger and Mazz went on to talk about the Boston Bruins. This weekend the B's swept in Florida with a 4-3 shoot-out win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday night and a 5-2 win over the Florida Panthers yesterday. Should the Bruins start to give Zdeno Chara some rest?

In the fourth and final hour, Felger and Mazz took calls on everything they discussed today. NFL free agency begins tomorrow, will the Patriots make a splash?
