Doll With Typical Body Proportions Met With Rave Reviews

BOSTON (CBS) - Move over, Barbie. There's a fashion doll getting a lot of national attention.

Unlike the iconic Matel toy, Lammily doll is made to have typical body proportions.

The artist who created her Nickolay Lamm says she is designed to appear fit and strong, not super skinny.

The doll wears minimal makeup, and her wardrobe is simple.

Lamm started a crowd-funding website to try and mass market the Lammily dolls.

He met his goal within a day.

Lamm says he hopes to extend the line to embrace diversity by creating new dolls in different races with different body types.
