BOSTON (CBS) — It will be an emotional day as Red Sox announcer Jerry Remy returns to the broadcast booth for the first time since his son’s murder arrest.
He’ll be back in the NESN booth for Sunday afternoon’s spring training game.
Remy’s son Jared, was charged with murdering his girlfriend Jennifer Martel last summer.
Remy says he understands just how tragic the situation is for both families but says he is looking forward to the first Sox game.
