Fairhaven Teens Accused Of Stealing Champagne, Cigarettes From Store

FAIRHAVEN (CBS) – Two Fairhaven teens are facing vandalism charges after a break-in at the Friendly Farm Convenience Store.

Police say on February 2, Jared Spangler and Tyler Smith broke into a store by shattering the front door. By the time an officer arrived, they were gone.

Investigators followed footprints in the snow and found the two 19-year-olds in a nearby home hiding underneath a blanket.

The two are accused of using a concrete block to smash the glass of the front door and stealing champagne and cigarettes from the store.
