Woman Killed In Cambridge House Fire

CAMBRIDGE (CBS) – A woman died early Wednesday morning following a three-alarm fire at a home in Cambridge.

The fire started on the second floor of a home on Prospect Street around 3:45 a.m.

It quickly spread to the building next door.

All of the other residents escaped safely.

First responders performed CPR on the woman before she was taken to the hospital where she died a short time later.

Her name has not been released.

The cause of the fire is still not known.
