NightSide - Nikhil Thakkar Is In Studio

BOSTON (CBS) - Underage drinking is a big problem facing America's youth, but it is also an issue for the rest of the world as well. Nikhil Thakkar is a student at Burlington High School, and after visiting Spain his sophomore year, he saw first-hand the problems of underage drinking in other countries. From this, Nikhil founded SAFE, a program that addresses the issue of underage drinking and drug use. SAFE reaches 50,000 students in 20 countries around the world. Nikhil sits down with Dan to discuss his program, and what he believes is the right way to educate today's youth about the dangers of drug and alcohol use. Tune in to hear Nikhil.
