Teen Dies In Skiing Accident At Sugarbush

WARREN, VT (CBS) —- A skiing accident at Sugarbush in Vermont has claimed the life of a 19-year-old.

Vermont State Police have identified the woman as Kendra Bowers, a University of Vermont student from Newport, Rhode Island.

Bowers was skiing with family and friends around 11 a.m. yesterday morning when she lost control at a trail intersection on Mount Ellen and hit a trail sign.

She was rushed to Central Vermont hospital in Berlin where she was pronounced dead.
