BOSTON (CBS) --- He was nearly killed during a shootout with the alleged marathon bombers. Now, MBTA Officer Dic Donohue is asking for help.

Donohue will take part in a blood drive at the Red Cross Blood Donation Center in Dedham.

The drive will be held Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the 180 Rustcraft Road, Dedham location. Or, you can call 1-800-Red-Cross to find a donation center near you.
