MBTA Buses Collide On Mass Pike Near Pru Tunnel
BOSTON (CBS) — Two MBTA buses collided on the Massachusetts Turnpike eastbound near the Prudential Tunnel during Thursday’s morning commute.
MBTA Spokesperson Joe Pesaturo said the drivers sustained minor injuries. Three passengers also requested medical attention for back pain.
According to Pesaturo, the Route 505 bus hit the rear of the Route 501 bus.
All passengers were transferred to other buses.
The right lane is closed on the Pike and traffic is backed up as police clear the scene.
