Photos From Tanker Driver's Facebook Page Raising Eyebrows

WEST BRIDGEWATER (CBS) - WBZ has been looking into the driving history of the trucker involved in Monday's crash in Fall River. Some photos are raising eyebrows.

The photos in question are from the Facebook page of the driver, Lisa Korch. The snapshots are from 2012 and show various highways from the perspective of the person behind the wheel of a big rig.

A couple of photos show the sun setting as the truck travels the highways.

Federal rules prohibit the use of handheld cell phones by truck drivers, although it's unclear if this photo was taken by a cell phone or a regular camera.

It's also unclear exactly who the photographer was.

WBZ showed State Police the photos Monday afternoon. They will only say the cause of the crash is under investigation.

Lisa Korch indicates on her Facebook page that she just got her approval to drive tankers a year ago.

The truck involved in Monday's crash is owned by J.P. Noonan company. When WBZ showed a spokesman for J.P. Noonan the Facebook photos, he was clearly upset, but said the company's focus right now is on the health of their driver.

He also confirmed there is a policy regarding cell phones, but would not go into detail. Officials in Massachusetts and Connecticut say Korch has a clean driving record.
