Mix 104.1 Makes 'Album Of The Year' GRAMMY Predictions

BOSTON (CBS) - Music's biggest night is just about here...and the Grammy predictions are flying fast and furious. Before they headed to Los Angeles for the awards, we caught up with Mix 104.1's Salt, Gregg Daniels and Fast Freddy for their picks for Album of the Year.

"You never know who's going to win in this category, but I think this year it's clear cut," says afternoon host Gregg Daniels. "My pick is The Heist with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. I just think it's chock full of hits," he says. Morning man Salt agrees. "I think it was something that was completely different and something that America was looking for and even the world was looking for. I think that's what really sets them apart, and the fact that it's not just an artist, it's an artist and his producer," says Salt. Fast Freddy sees it differently. "I still think it's going to be Daft Punk, Random Access Memories. I think it was a party record for the entire year, though I love Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, that's just my two cents," says Freddy.

And what about fan favorite Taylor Swift? "I think Taylor Swift has won so many awards she can take a year off," jokes Daniels. Other nominees for Album of the Year are Kendrick Lamar and Sara Bareilles. You can catch all the Grammy excitement on CBS Sunday night at 8. The guys from Mix 104.1 will be broadcasting from LA starting today.
