RI Man Charged With 10th OUI After New Bedford Crash
NEW BEDFORD (CBS) – A Rhode Island man is facing his 10th OUI charge after crashing his car in New Bedford this past weekend.
John Brant, 49, of Middletown, RI was arraigned on Tuesday. Police say he drove off of Route 195 eastbound into the woods on Saturday night.
State Troopers determined Brant, who refused medical attention, appeared to be drunk.
Brant faces charges of OUI 10th offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation.
