Celtics @ 7: Welcome Back, Rondo

BOSTON (CBS) - Friday night at the Garden welcomed the return of Celtics All-Star point guard Rajon Rondo, and host Adam Kaufman broke it down along with a narrow and disappointing loss to the Lakers on this morning's "Celtics @ 7".

Kaufman discussed Rondo's play in his nearly 20 minutes of action, and what impressed him most as the guard continues to work his way back from an ACL injury. Also, prior to the game, Rondo was named the 15th captain in team history. Does this mean he'll be in a Boston uniform longer than most people think?

The Boston Globe's Baxter Holmes joined the show in the second segment to discuss Rondo and how he look in his first NBA action in almost a full year, as well as his expectations for the star going forward. Holmes also weighed in on the play of unheralded back-up point guard Phil Pressey and the acquisition of center Joel Anthony.

Kaufman wrapped up the show by looking at other notes from the week, including the departure of Jordan Crawford and the dismissal of Keith Bogans. The latter story seems to have some holes.
