Rondo Tweet Hints Friday Return vs. Lakers

BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Celtics are currently in a nine-game losing streak, but they may get their star point guard back by the end of the week.

Rajon Rondo, sidelined all season while recovering from ACL surgery he underwent last February, sent out a very cryptic tweet on Monday night, hinting he may return Friday night when the Celtics host the Los Angeles Lakers.

Rondo simply tweeted "29,233,380 secs," which roughly equates to just over 338 days. That's the span between his ACL surgery on February 13, 2013 and Friday evening, when the Celtics host the Lakers.

When asked about a potential Rondo return prior to Monday night's loss to the Houston Rockets, Celtics head coach Brad Stevens said "I get the impression, it will be sooner rather than later."

Last week, Rondo said he still wasn't sure when he would return but expected to be back prior to the NBA All-Star game in mid-February.
