Earlier Start Times Announced For Saturday's Hockey East Double-Header At Fenway Park
BOSTON (CBS) - The snowy weather wreaked havoc on Frozen Fenway last week. This weekend, the NFL playoffs are causing them change up the schedule.
On Monday, Fenway Sports Management and Hockey East announced earlier start times for Saturday's doubleheader at Fenway Park featuring UMass Lowell vs. Northeastern and University of Maine vs. Boston University.
The two hockey games will now start at 2:15 and 5:45 pm, respectively -- 45 minutes earlier than originally scheduled -- to accommodate fans who would like to get home in time to watch the Patriots divisional playoff game against the Indianapolis Colts at 8:15 pm.
Fenway Park gates are scheduled to open at 1:15 pm.
