The Adam Jones Show: Omer Asik Trade Dead
On Wednesday's show, Adam Jones broke down why the trade for Omer Asik failed to materialize.
"We're probably talking about a pick in this year's draft [that Houston wanted]," Jones said. "Wouldn't you think that's what Houston wanted? If Danny Ainge wanted that protected, good for him. ... The fact that you have all these unprotected picks from Brooklyn, they're good as gold. You have a potential lottery ticket -- especially three to five years from now, after [Paul] Pierce and [Keving] Garnett retire or are at the very, very back end of their careers -- who knows where those picks are going to wind up?"
