Police ID Victim In Fatal Pedestrian Accident On Cape
BOSTON (CBS) — State Police have identified the victim of a pedestrian accident, Saturday afternoon.
Police say Jessica Spaid, 32, of Yarmouthport, was walking in the roadway on Route 6 westbound when she was struck and killed by two motor vehicles.
Why Spaid was in the road, remains under investigation.
The drivers of both vehicles stopped and they were not cited by police.
Route 6 was closed for approximately two and a half hours to allow for recovery of the victim, crash investigation and eventual clean up of the roadway.
