Waltham Man Killed In Cambridge Crash Friday Night

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — Police say a Waltham man is dead after his vehicle left the road, went through a fence and crashed into a building in Cambridge, trapping the seriously injured driver.

State police say in a statement released Saturday that investigators are trying to figure out why the car crashed into a house on Concord Turnpike Friday night.

Authorities say 40-year-old Theodore Ohene-Addo, of Waltham, was seriously injured and was trapped in the heavily-damaged car. He was alone in the vehicle and was taken to Mount Auburn Hospital, where physicians later pronounced him dead.

State police investigators are looking into circumstances and facts of the crash.

State police say Cambridge officers notified them of the crash at 11:10 p.m. Friday. Rescue workers left the scene by 2:30 a.m.
