BOSTON (CBS) --- Marchex, an advertising technology company, analyzed hundred of thousand of phone calls, mostly customer to business calls, and found that one of the rudest states in the country is Massachustts.

But while we may be rude, the company also found Massachusetts residents are the least likely to swear, at least on a phone call.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Carl Stevens asked people on the street if they think the state residents are rude.
"Absolutely," one man said. "Rude, it's a Massachusetts ignorance."
Another man said the people in Massachusetts are no worse than other states.
According to the study, Ohio is the most profane state followed by Maryland, New Jersey, Louisiana and Illinois.
The least profane were Washington, Massachusetts, Arizona, Texas and Virginia.
