Cyber Monday Deals May Last Longer Than A Day

BOSTON (CBS) - If you didn't get enough shopping done over the weekend, or if you just don't like malls or people, then Cyber Monday is your day.

One of the first things you'll notice when you go online is that Cyber Monday has actually become a week-long event.

Just like Black Friday, retailers are stretching out the deals to make the most of the four weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Many of those deals are in electronics and toys. WalMart, for example, is offering an iPad mini for $279 or a 46-inch TV for $478.

Amazon has huge deals on toys with 50-percent off on Barbie, Fisher-Price and Mattel.

A Barbie town home is going for $92.

Retailers like Target are offering a buy one, get one 50-percent off on clothes and shoes.

Last year, Cyber Monday brought in about $1.5 billion in sales and some analysts say this year could be even bigger.
