Icy Roads Causing Numerous Accidents Sunday Morning

There have been too many accidents to mention this morning. All it takes is a trace of freezing rain or drizzle to create that glaze on the roads.  If you're traveling back from the Thanksgiving holiday…it's worth waiting until the temperatures rise above freezing before hitting the roads.  A Freezing Rain Advisory is in effect for all the areas shaded in pink...

Forecast Clouds, Precip & Temp (11 AM Snapshot)

We're still looking at a glancing blow from an ocean storm on Tuesday…so expect a period of rain, mostly likely in southeastern MA, and potentially farther northwest depending on the track.
