Waterville Valley Ski Resort Plans Expansion With Tubing Park

WATERVILLE VALLEY, N.H. (AP) — The Waterville Valley Resort is working on expanding, with more than 60 acres of new terrain planned for skiers and riders and a new tubing park.

The ski resort is breaking ground next spring on its first major expansion in 30 years. The trails of Green Peak will connect to the resort's existing trail network. The new Green Peak also will be accessible by a modern high-speed quad chairlift.

The resort is offering a new tubing hill. Four lanes located next to the Waterville Valley Golf Course are dedicated to tubing. The tubing park is open on weekends and holidays.
