Turkeys, Peanut Butter, Taken From NH Food Pantry

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Police are looking for a man and a woman suspected of taking turkeys, peanut butter, tuna and other items from a church food pantry in Manchester.

Police said a Blessed Sacrament Church worker on Monday noticed an air conditioner unit pushed in, allowing access to the pantry. She pushed it back in. About an hour later, she saw a couple outside apparently trying to push in the unit. They were scared off, but the worker saw items were missing from the pantry, including 11 turkeys, 100 cans of tuna, 200 jars of peanut butter, frozen meat and candy and cookies.

The couple is described as a white male and female between 50 and 60. He was wearing jeans and a black leather jacket. She was wearing a long pink coat.
