Remains Found In Bridgewater Identified As Haverhill Man

BRIDGEWATER (CBS) - Police have identified the human remains that were found burning inside a barrel in a wooded area of Bridgewater last week.

Investigators say the remains belong to 24-year-old Dennis R. Jackson, whose last known address is in Haverhill.

The remains were identified through fingerprints. The Plymouth County DA has not released a cause of death.

Human remains were also found a day later in Boston's Hyde Park neighborhood. The locations are 16 miles apart.

Investigators in Boston tell WBZ-TV that they believe the remains are from the same person.

The investigation is ongoing.
