RAYNHAM, Mass. (AP) — Massachusetts officials say there were no life-threatening injuries when a vehicle crashed into a state police cruiser and another car in a breakdown lane of Interstate 495 in Raynham.
State police say the accident happened shortly before 12:30 a.m. Sunday near the Route 24 interchange. Authorities say a trooper had pulled into the breakdown lane behind another car before both cars were struck by the third vehicle.
The trooper and the other drivers were taken to hospitals. Their names and conditions haven’t been released.
State police are investigating what caused the crash.
