Worcester Police Investigate String Of Supermarket Robberies

WORCESTER (CBS) --- Police are looking for a man suspected of robbing four supermarkets at gunpoint.

The armed robberies of Price Chopper Supermarket, Stop & Shop and two Shaw's supermarkets started at the end of October.

The most recent one was Saturday at the Shaw's on West Boylston Street.

Police believe the same man entered all four stores, approached the customer service counters, showed a handgun and demanded cash.

He's described as a white man in his 20's, over six-feet tall.
