Bruins Raffling Off Special Veterans Day Warmup Sweaters

BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Bruins wore special camouflage sweaters during their pregame warmups on Monday afternoon to honor those in the armed forces on Veterans Day.

Monday was Military Appreciation Day at the TD Garden as the Bruins hosted the Tampa Bay Lightning in a Veterans Day matinee. Bruins players Matt Bartkowski, Johnny Boychuk, David Krejci, Torey Krug and Dennis Seidenberg each purchased $2,500 worth of tickets which they gave out to local military members and their families.

The military jerseys the Bruins wore during warmups were signed and are now being raffled or auctioned off for charity. The jersey's worn by Jarome Iginla and Brad Marchand are currently being raffled off at through the NHL's Alumni Association, with proceeds going to the Boston Bruins Foundation and the USO. The jersey's worn by Patrice Bergeron, Dennis Seidenberg, Torey Krug and Chris Kelly are up for auction at NHL.com.
