Revere said yes to a casino. East Boston and Palmer said no.
Tuesday’s votes won’t end the debate over casino gambling in Massachusetts. Both Suffolk Downs and Mohegan Sun say they’re hopeful they can save their plans to apply for one of the gaming licenses being made available by the state gaming commission.
Supporters talked about the economic benefits of new casinos. Opponents were concerned about increased crime and traffic.
