Mass Bay Community College Campuses Evacuated After Bomb Threats

FRAMINGHAM (CBS) – Three Mass Bay Community College Campuses were evacuated after bomb threats were found Tuesday.

Early Tuesday morning, a security officer found a written bomb threat in a men's bathroom on the Wellesley Hills campus. Wellesley Police came to campus, investigated and gave an all clear.

Tuesday afternoon, another written bomb threat was found on the Framingham campus.

As a result, buildings in Wellesley, Framingham and Ashland were evacuated and classes were canceled.

According to Framingham Police, a note was found on the back of a bathroom door and stated that a bomb was in the school and was going to blow up.

The State Police Bomb Squad responded and nothing was found.

Classes will resume Wednesday.
