DANVERS (CBS) — A wake will be held Sunday afternoon in Andover for murdered Danvers math teacher Colleen Ritzer.
The wake is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. and continues to 8:30 p.m. at St. Augustine Church in Andover.
Her funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church.
The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston announced the arrangements on behalf of Ritzer’s family.
Though those who knew her say it will take a long time, if ever, to return to normal, students and faculty at the school are trying to move forward.
The football team was back in action Saturday night in Winthrop.
Before kickoff, both teams paid tribute to Ritzer.
A scholarship fund has been set up in honor of Ritzer.
The scholarship will be awarded to students who are pursuing a degree in education so they can continue her legacy of making a difference in a student’s life.
Donations can be made online or mail a check payable to ECCF/Colleen Ritzer Fund to Essex County Community Foundation, 175 Andover St., Danvers, MA 01923.
