Patriots Fulfill Children's Wishes At Gillette Stadium

FOXBORO (CBS) -- Several boys battling serious illnesses lived a dream on Saturday, playing catch with Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and meeting with the team's head coach, Bill Belichick.

The children got a chance to play with their families on the turf at Gillette Stadium, Brady and other Pats players joined them on the practice field, then they got some game planning advice from Belichick.

The Patriots and Make-a-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island hosted the event.

Ricky Cookson of Revere was among the kids at Gillette Stadium. "It was really cool cuz we got to play catch with Tom Brady ... meet Bill Belicick ... and meet most of the Patriots," Ricky said.

The highlights of the event didn't end there, with the kids getting a personal tour of the front office with Pats owner Robert Kraft.

"A lot of us think we have problems, but ya see how special these young people are," Kraft said after the tour.

The boys also got to hang out at their own lockers and hold a post-game press conference.
