Patriots-Dolphins News And Notes

BOSTON (CBS) - WBZ-TV's Levan Reid passes along some news and notes -- and a few fun facts -- for Sunday's Patriots-Dolphins matchup.

- This will be the 96th meeting between the Patriots and the Dolphins, including the playoffs. The Dolphins hold a 50-45 edge over the Pats, but New England has swept the series the last three years.

-The Patriots have won six straight over the Dolphins and a win on Sunday will give them the franchise's longest regular season winning streak against Miami.

- Bill Belichick is 17-9 against the Dolphins since becoming head coach of the Patriots in 2000.

- Tom Brady is 10-1 against Miami in home games and 16-6 against them lifetime.

- Rob Gronkowski has 38 touchdown receptions from Tom Brady. He needs one more from Brady to tie Randy Moss for the most touchdown receptions from TB12.

- Gronkowski has ten 100-yard games, the most by a Patriots tight end in team history.

- Stephen Gostkowski's field goal streak is now at 13.

TALE OF THE TAPE: Patriots vs. Dolphins

- Julian Edelman is tied for third in the league with 46 receptions.

- There are 19 players on the Patriots roster that entered the NFL as undrafted free agents.

- The Patriots have sold out 210 consecutive home games, including the playoffs and preseason.
