Have you ever actually stopped to contemplate what your perfect life would be? We go to school and work hard to “get ahead,” but what does “ahead” mean to you? What will you have to achieve to feel like you have been successful? Perhaps it would be beneficial to take a moment to consider what makes you happy in order to be sure you are on the path to personal satisfaction.
Do you want fame, money, a nice car, a big house, and a fabulous physique? Maybe you desire, respect, security, or adventure. Or perhaps you get closer to self-actualization through altruism.
I took my camera and microphone to the Park Street MBTA station area and asked passersby the startlingly simple question: ‘What do you want out of life?’
