Police Arrest Man Accused Of Attacking T Bus Driver In Chelsea

MALDEN (CBS) – Transit police say the man who attacked an MBTA bus driver last week has been arrested.

Douglas Bergeron was taken into custody Monday in Malden. He is accused of attacking a driver on Broadway in Chelsea last Sunday night.

In a video posted on the MBTA Transit Police blog, Bergeron is allegedly seen arguing with the driver.

The video shows the driver veering into a parked car which then hit two other vehicles.

Bergeron will be charged with assault and battery.
