Thieves Swipe $12,000 Necklace From Newton Jewelry Store
NEWTON (CBS) -- Police are searching for a couple of bandits who swiped a $12,000 necklace Saturday from a jewelry store in Newton.
The theft occurred at about 3 p.m. at Talori's on Union Street, the police said.
The jewelry store did not call police about the incident for nearly a half hour after the theft occurred, Newton Police Lt. Bruce Apotheker said.
The Newton Police are investigating the incident. Anyone with information about the alleged theft can call investigators at 617-796-2100.
