Police ID Suspect Who Assaulted T Bus Driver, Caused Crash
CHELSEA (CBS) — Transit Police have identified a man who they say assaulted an MBTA bus driver while he was behind the wheel.
Douglas Bergeron, 32, is accused of attacking a driver on Broadway in Chelsea around 9:30 on Sunday night.
His whereabouts are not known, but a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
In the video posted on the MBTA Transit Police blog, Bergeron is allegedly seen arguing with the driver.
The video shows the driver veering into a parked car which then hit two other vehicles.
Bergeron faces charges of Assault & Battery on a Public Employee and Interfering with Public Transportation.
Anyone with information about Bergeron’s location is asked to call police.
