Patriots Practice Report: Amendola,Talib Among 5 Absent On Wednesday

BOSTON (CBS) - Five players missed practice for the Patriots on Wednesday as the team prepares for Sunday's matchup with the New York Jets.

Wide receiver Danny Amendola (concussion/groin), guard Dan Connolly (concussion), defensive lineman Tommy Kelly (knee), corner Aqib Talib (hip) and running back Leon Washington (ankle) were all absent for Wednesday's session at Gillette.

Amendola, Connolly and Talib were all injured in Sunday's comeback win against the New Orleans Saints, and it's unclear when they'll be able to return to the field. Kelly injured his knee two weeks ago in a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, and missed Sunday's game against New Orleans.
