Braintree Police Find 115 Lbs Of Marijuana After Responding To Fire Alarm

BRAINTREE (CBS) -- Two people were arrested after police responded to a routine fire alarm call at a condo Monday.

Police say when officers arrived at Lenox Farms they discovered 115 pounds of marijuana inside one unit.

Mary Mei Chan, 31, and Dang Huynh, 32, both of Quincy, were charged with trafficking marijuana and conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws.

Police estimate the street value of the marijuana at around $500,000.
