Red Sox Fans Excited For ALCS

BOSTON (CBS) - Red Sox fans are very excited for the ALCS.

"I never loss faith always keep believing," Red Sox fan Lee Adelson said.

James Deboisbriand of Amesbury is a huge Red Sox fan and has turned his home into a shrine for his beloved team. "I am very nervous on this one very nervous. John Farrell is the answer. He came to Boston and he told fans what he was going to do and it happened. And the players are playing for him," Deboisbrand said.

There's no doubt that Red Sox Nation and Fenway Fever is back in Boston. Local businesses are loving the high foot traffic. "We are still trying to catch up from the early part of this year. Many people didn't think this team would be good this year now they believe and our sales numbers are going up," Tim Pettit of Red Sox Team Store said.

According to the Boston Chamber of Commerce each ALCS Play-off game can generate $3 million dollars for area businesses.

"All the extra traffic and excitement is great. People are buying more," Stephen Feher of Dominos said. "We hired extra drivers and scooters. At our peak we are making 500 pizzas an hour here."
