Driver Killed In Crash On I-95 In Foxboro

FOXBORO (CBS) – A driver was killed in a single-car crash on Interstate 95 in Foxboro early Sunday morning.

State police say a Kia Sorento was travelling on 95 south around 5:20 a.m. when the driver lost control, hit a guardrail and went into the woods just before exit 6B.

The driver, 24-year-old Phoenix Smith of Cranston, Rhode Island, was trapped and died at the scene.

It's not clear yet what caused the crash.
